Honda Hydrogen Car - A Step in the Right Direction
by Michael Cooper

In November of 2007, Honda announced its next generation eco-friendly vehicle, the Honda FCX Clarity. Unlike many of the other eco-friendly cars such as hybrids and other hydrogen cars, the FCX Clarity hydrogen car uses what is called a fuel cell. A fuel cell is a device that creates electricity from the fuel, in this case hydrogen. The Honda V Flow fuel cell is a revolutionary breakthrough that generates enough electricity to power a real world car. The fuel cell combines hydrogen from the fuel tank with oxygen in the air to produce two things: electricity and water. That is correct; water is the only byproduct of the Honda FCX Clarity! This amazing system allows the Honda FCX Clarity to be ranked as what is known as a ZEV (Zero Emissions Vehicle). It has absolutely no harmful emissions of any sort. The wheels are driven by a quiet, compact electric motor that draws power from the fuel cell and from the lithium-ion (Lion) battery that like a gas hybrid is also charged when braking and driving downhill. Comparative Gas Mileage There is no direct way to compare gas mileage as hydrogen is a compressed gas and is measured in kilograms of fuel weight. The tank holds 4.1kg of fuel (about 9 pounds) which is enough to give the car a range of 280 miles. Miles per gallon is calculated using the GGE (Gasoline Gallon Equivalent) which determines the comparative energy used to move the car. Miles Per Gallon (GGE) - City: 79 - Highway: 68 - Combined: 74 Miles Per Kilogram - City: 77 - Highway: 67 - Combined: 72 Yes, you read that correctly; Miles per Kilogram. Since the fuel storage is measured in kilograms MPK will be an increasingly common method of measuring your mileage as hydrogen powered cars become more common. The Honda FCX Clarity drives just like any other Honda, with on exception, it has virtually no engine noise. With its super quiet engine it has ample pick-up and produces 134 horsepower, more than enough to move its light, aerodynamic frame around the road. The vehicle also sports a lot of Honda’s upcoming features and technology with a very advanced, yet comfortable and convenient interior. Honda plans to produce a limited of the 2008 FCX Clarity models and offer them on lease at $600/month. They are available in southern California in areas near pre-existing hydrogen refueling stations. Honda has also created a Hydrogen Dealer Network where the cars are to be sold and serviced.

Can You Really Use WATER for GAS?

Can You Really Use WATER for GAS?
by Derek Wray

With gas prices well over $4.00 a gallon and predicted to go over $6.00 a gallon, it was only a matter of time before people started searching for ways to increase their gas mileage.
As I was researching ways to increase gas mileage, I learned about a relatively unknown way to significantly increase any car’s gas mileage by using water to supplement the fuel with hydrogen for a better fuel burn.
However, the idea of running your car on water sounded absurd so I was skeptical about this “simple technology”
These are just some of the claims made:
Water fuel will enable your vehicle to become at least 40% more fuel efficient. Water fuel will boost performance while producing cleaner emissions. You can receive IRS refunds owed to you by law for using green technology in your vehicle! 100% safe/legal - guaranteed! Works with plain tap water Enjoy incredible fuel savings.
Could this be real or just another internet scam…
This is what I discovered.
Will running your car on water really work? Well, not exactly. Your car will still use gas as it’s primary source of combustion. You will be supplementing that fuel with hydrogen. What you are going to be doing with Water Fuel technology is creating an extremely cost-effective hydrogen powered hybrid (Water Hybrid) by taking advantage of the atomic constituents of water molecules, hydrogen and oxygen (H2O).
The conversion to a water hybrid uses inexpensive parts that you can find at any local hardware store such as Home Depot or Lowes. When setup, a small amount of power is used from your car’s battery to seperate the water molecules into HHO gas. This gas is then fed into the intake of your vehicle creating a more efficient burn for your fuel. This is why you can achieve significant increases in gas mileage.
You generate free energy by ENHANCING the EFFICIENCY of your poorly designed engine!!! Your car engine currently uses 20% of the energy stored in that expensive fuel - and WASTES 80% for heat, pollution (unburned fuel!) and vibration.
HHO gas is very stable and burns incredibly well as a significant power source and the conversion really is simple to set up with the guides that are floating around the internet today, however many people have doubts such as:
Is this process safe?
Water fuel is safe for your car’s engine. Water Fuel (HHO gas) is supplemental to fuel and will actually create a cooler burn that causes less wear and tear on your car’s engine.
This technology works with all vehicles but it works best with?
Water fuel technology works with any kind of gasoline or diesel powered vehicle, however it is geared towards fuel economy, not minimizing power loss. For this reason, vehicles such as giant SUVs and trucks will not see as large of an increase in fuel economy as lighter, less demanding vehicles…
In conclusion, water fuel technology does work and can save 40% or more in fuel costs while significantly increasing your vehicles gas mileage. The technology is simple to install and will not adversly affect your engine nor does it void your warranty.

5 Major Advantages Of Running Your Car On Water
by Onputtha

Soaring oil prices have made all of us think about alternatives to gasoline. Unfortunately, till date, the majority of vehicles run on either gas or diesel, both of which are now touching never before highs. With even the G-8 leaders agreeing that developing new technology is the only way of dealing with the world oil crisis, the common man is forced to think of options to make both ends meet. But the good news is that commoners like us have already developed technologies that bring down fuel consumption to extremely affordable limits. And no, we are not talking of high priced gas-electric hybrids offered by leading car manufacturers, but a small do-it-yourself kit that lets you run your car on water. The hybrid technology that uses an electrolyzer for converting water into HHO or hydroxy gas, where the hydrogen part is used to power the engine has been around for the past five years. Constantly rising oil prices have put these machines into the limelight as a serious alternative to other high priced or energy deficient hybrid cars. So before you think of looking at other hybrid technologies, have a look at some of the major advantages of running cars on water:

1. You Save On Fuel Consumption: When you use hybrid technology that combines water and gasoline to run your car, you end up reducing your consumption of gasoline by at least 25% to 40%. This directly translates into major savings on your annual gasoline bills and you no longer have to keep monitoring the odometer every time you take your car out.

2. You Get To Utilize The Cheapest Hybrid Technology Available: Many gas-electric hybrid models from major car manufacturers like Honda and Toyota might give you the same MPG as a water-gas hybrid. But while regular hybrids cost almost 25% to 40% more than regular gas models of the same cars, a gas-water hybrid kit costs even less than $200.

3. Your Car’s Performance Gets Better: Hydrogen is a much more efficient fuel than gasoline, so while gasoline leaves carbon residues and other similar rubbish in your engine that bring down both the longevity and performance of your vehicle, running your car on hydrogen ensures that there is no residue to diminish the performance of your car’s engine.

4. You Save On Tax: Government at both the federal and state levels provide tax rebates to people using hybrids with low emission levels. Since your water run hybrid qualifies you for this, you can easily save hundreds of tax dollars every year. Apart from this, your state government might also give you special favors like providing you with free parking or the use of the carpool lane.

5. You Get To Do Your Own Bit For The Environment: When you run your car on water, you not only save on fuel consumption, your car produces lesser noise and air pollution than other normal vehicles, letting you drive around guiltlessly.

Running a Car on Water
by Darrell Rondo

The idea of running a hybrid car is something that isn’t realistic to many Americans. Many feel they simply cannot afford to buy a hybrid or don’t want to be inconvenienced any further due to fuel prices. Some have turned to turning their cars into hybrids themselves, and this trend is growing. The first step you should take is checking out a guide written by a professional in this field. Some are written by amateurs or are unclear so do your due diligence. You then need to get the parts which will run you between $100 and $200. For such an inexpensive system you may wonder why many people haven’t converted to the hybrid “water for gas” system yet. For one, there is a lot of propaganda and skepticism floating around about this system which is diluting the facts.

Anyone that can follow instructions can turn their car into a water powered vehicle. It is that simple. You have to install system in your vehicle that will use electricity to split water into gas. It does this by forcing the H20 to separate into HHO (hydrogen gas). Using hydrogen gas and gasoline will cut down on the costs of running your vehicle. Your vehicle also emits less gas into the environment, and you can get a tax break for driving a hybrid.

Any type of automobile can be converted to the water for gas system. Again, you can do this yourself but if you want a mechanic could easily do this for you. In the event that you do not like the system, you can always remove it from your vehicle. There are no lasting effects from using hydrogen to power your vehicle. If you want to save on gas costs, get more miles per gallon, and help the environment, you should check out this system. It is cost effective, easy to implement, and a very low risk for something that can impact your costs on gasoline greatly.

How to Improve Car Fuel Consumption
by Zouking

With the ever increasing of fuel hitting $4 per gallon, drivers like you and me are looking for alternative to either replace or reduce our fuel usage. Luckily for us, there is a technology available in the market that can allow our conventional car to run on both water and fuel. This technology allow the water to break down into smaller molecules, called electrolysis. This process cannot be done on any of our normal conventional car. This required installing a small device into your car, that’s all.

You will be thinking, does installing this device void our car warranty and insurance ? The answer is no. This installation is just like installing another car turbo meter into your car. Does that void your warranty ? No right. If there is a need, you can alway just remove it. As easy as A B C. It is so easy, even a non-technical guy like me can do it.

Me and my friends have personally tried some of the few product available in the market. We are glad that it worked for us, hoping it will work for you as well. We also have come out with a review site that give you the pro and cons of each product. Do visit the site mentioned below for more information. Trust me, it’s worth the time, money and effort.

Why spend over $20000 to purchase a new car that can run on both water and fuel when you can have your own at less then $100. Now you understand why car producers are promoting these hybrid car.

Beside letting your car to run on both water and fuel, there are others ways which we can adopt or uses to improve not only our car performance. So read carefully to what i am about to tell you guys.

First of all, let’s start with the acceleration part. Every time we accelerate our car, we are using far more fuel then we are using when driving on a constant speed. So instead of “floor” the accelerator, why not let it gain its speed slowly.

Secondly, drive at a constand speed. Do not try to gain speed trying to change the traffic light ahead. Trust me, it’s not worth it. Go slow and easy. Accelerate slowly and keep it at the speed unless there is a need to brake and stop.

Now let’s go to the braking part. It is basically the same as the accelerating. Don’t just go hard on the brake. Step in slowly. If you brake hard, you are not only damaging your tyres, and using up alot more fuel.

Now is the technical part. Check your tyre pressure regularly. You mind think as long it is 4 wheels, your car body is not too near the ground, it is fine. Trust me, it’s not. The more surface area it has on the ground, the more fuel it need to get the car moving. That is the law of Friction. So check the tyre pressure regularly.

Check your engine oil regularly as well. It your engine is well maintain, it will also help you save fuel in the long run.

Lastly, remove those unnessary item behind your car boot. It’s the same theory. How do you feel if you are going to cycle up a slope with LOADS of item behind you.

I hope these fews tips will help you get a better ideas of how to save up fuel.

Why Are Gas Prices So High? : hybrid cars review 2009
by Mark Myers

Why has gas prices doubled? Why is oil hovering at $100 per barrel? Why won’t somebody do something? Why are gas prices so high? Here’s the answer…
The infamous questions everybody is asking themselves and each other. The answer is simple; however the solutions are quite a bit more complicated.

So, why are gas prices so high? Two reasons, supply and demand. Supply is increasing but not at the rate that it is being demanded. Unfortunately the times of cheap oil are quickly coming to an end, and will more than likely never return.

So what’s with the supply?

The US is the number one consumer of gas and oil in the world. This fact hasn’t changed. In fact oil demand is a direct result of the economic prowess an economy has. This leads to the biggest increase in demand for oil, growth of developed countries, and the very rapid growth of emerging economies, mainly China and India. The more they grow, the more energy they consume.

Supply is also being purposefully limited by countries that can. Top oil producing countries are limiting the amount of oil they refine and produce. If a country’s economy is dependant on oil exports, it is in THEIR best interests to keep supplies limited.

Blame should not only fall on OPEC and oil companies. The United States is equally to blame for high oil prices due to their failure to act. Not only were refineries destroyed in hurricane Katrina, but they were not rebuilt. America has not built a new refinery in 30 years. Not to mention the fact that the United States refuses to drill for new sources of oil because it may negatively impact the ice pollywog, or some nonsense.

What about demand.

Short of putting an oil well in your back yard, it will be difficult for the average consumer to affect the supply side of the equation. Demand we can do something about. Everyone has heard for years all the little things we can do to decrease consumption. Drive less, carpool, use public transportation, etc. Sounds great but it is hardly feasible on a mass scale.

The painful truth is the American people refuse to change their lives. They want, and will, go where they want, when they want, driving what they want. So, why are gas prices so high? Because of Americas unwillingness to change. If auto makers continue to produce inefficient cars, we will accept them and buy them, no questions asked.

There are alternative energy cars available today and coming in the future. Today’s hybrids are an excellent example. But they are expensive to produce and buy. The average consumer cannot afford to just go out and buy a new hybrid to save some gas. New alternative energy vehicles are in the pipeline promising some relief, like plug in hybrids, electric vehicles, and hydrogen fuel cells. The problem is these vehicles are still in development and are some years off.

Another reason why gas prices are so high is people have become spoiled by technology. They like to get in their car start it and go, with as little required from them as possible.

So, what can be done today?

Today there are modifications you can make to your car based on 90 year old patents, which could increase fuel mileage by 30% to 80%. There is an alternative to high gas prices. There is something you can do today to make a difference. WARNING, it will require some time and effort to implement and maintain, but only a fraction of the cost of doing nothing. It is possible and doable for the average consumer to convert their present car to burn hydrogen and gasoline at the same time.

The Best Device To Save Gas - Save Money On Gas From Tomorrow
by Nicusor Valentin Prefac

Do you know that the economists predict that the gas price will double sometime next year? Are you able to pay more than 3. 5$ a gallon on gas? I think not .

All this gas consumption also damage the environment, because the gases destroy the quantity of Oxygen on the Earth. The researchers think that if people pollute in the same way as now, in almost 40 years the environment will suffer dangerous modifications, dangerous for us, for our kids, for our friends. But we can’t just give up to our needs to use the car right? You won’t have to, because someone created a device to save gas, and improve mileage. It’s time to stop polluting so much and use water, hydrogen as fuel for our cars.

The best device to save gas was created by an US resident and his solution was on presented on Fox News- Project Energy as a very efficient way to improve mileage and save money on gas. His device to save gas is made from a few parts, that you can create yourself, with no risk, and it will be able to improve your car’s mileage by over 40%. After you create the parts you will attach them to your car and that’s it. Only ¼ of a litre of water can save you gas for over 900 miles (proved in tests) , depending on several factors, like the engine size.

Don’t worry on the costs of this device, because you can built one with less than 150$ and can save you thousands of dollars every year, money which you could use to rent a new house, to buy new appliances, or why not, a new car.

Water Fuel Convertion
by Cheryline Lawson

The rising gas price is on everyone’s mind these days. Even Barack Obama is mentioning it; even though President Bush is evading the issue. It is impacting the consumer and that is where most of the talk is. The focus now is trying to find a gas alternative and take matters into hand. The water 4 gas concept claims to save the consumer money on fuel. Some are even considering a hybrid vehicle as a way out of the high gas price. With the water 4 gas method, there is no need to buy a new car and you are able to convert your current vehicle to model this method so that you can save on gas and achieve better mileage on your car. The water 4 gas method is a conversion kit that enables you to convert your car to run on Browns Gas or HHO. This gas is created by stimulating water electrically from a car battery. The Brown’s Gas or HHO reduces the car’s fuel consumption and helps you to save at least 40% on gas.
From my calculation, this is a substantial savings from the current $4.05 per gallon of gas. The safety of Brown’s Gas or HHO is guaranteed and should not be a concern. The water conversion kit guides you step by step on how to turn your car into a “water run car.”
The water conversion kit comes with instructions on the components that you will need to administer this change. The cost to you can’t be more than sixty dollars out of pocket. For sixty bucks, you can save so much more from the gas pump. The items contained in the water conversion kit are baking soda, a hose, a container that is sealed and of course, you would include water. You would get the wiring from any local home depot store.
If you want to see how the water conversion is done, you can watch the LIVE VIDEO BY CLICKING HERE (http://savegasfuel.blogspot.com/)

Run Your Car On Water - Lies, Myths And Other Untruths
by Jeff Barry

You have probably come across the run your car on water hype that is spreading across the Internet like wildfire. Prior to committing any money to convert your car to burn water as a fuel saver, you need to read this article. Is it possible to run your car on water? Well, yes it is. Unfortunately, there are quite a few web sites out there that are promoting this in the wrong way in order to make a few bucks.

It is possible to convert your car to use the power of water to reduce the amount of gasoline your car consumes while running. This system can be used in any make or model of car. Converting your auto to work this way will save a decent chunk of cash each week.

Now for the bad news. There are a lot of web sites out there promoting systems that will allow you to run your car exclusively on water, that is, no gasoline. Unfortunately, it is not possible to convert any old car to use water exclusively.

In summary, there are a lot of great conversion guides out there that will save you a lot of money. However, you must be aware that anyone that offers to sell you a guide that will let you run exclusively on water, rather than as a water burning hybrid, should be avoided.

Top 10 Reasons to use Water Fuel Technology
by Charles Bledsoe
Water-fuel technology is a proven fact. Running your car with the added benefit of water: also known as hydrogen/brown’s gas or HHO will provide a low-cost solution to the ever-increasing price of gas. The Benefits of converting your vehicle to run with water:
1)Your car runs more efficiently on water 2) Cuts down on pollution and helps reduce Global Warming 3) Improves the Burning efficiency of fuel up to 50% 4) Less wear on your engine, you will have a longer life expectancy from your engine, the pistons, rings and valves. 5) Less engine clatter, you will have a quieter and much smoother running engine, thus a smoother ride. 6) The engine will operate at a lower running temperature. 7) Less carbon deposits in your engine and cleans your engine as you drive. 8) Greatly enhance engine power and performance. 9) Drive your vehicle more miles per tank of fuel 10) SAVES MONEY ON GAS
These are just some of the advantages of using Water Fuel Technology. You can build the device needed to make this technology work for you from the comfort of your own home. Water Fuel Technology can save you a $100 or more per month on gas depending on how much driving you do. That’s $1200 or more per year. How it Works A quart-size container with plates or spirals is placed somewhere under the hood, you fill it with water. The device gets vacuum and electricity (12 Volts) from the engine, and produces HHO gas (Hydrogen Oxygen) this gas is then injected into the engine along with the gas from your gas tank. This hybrid system is an easy do it yourself job with a little bit of mechanical know how. All parts needed for the job can be found at any hardware and auto parts store. The benefits of this system is it works on about 99% of the automobiles including trucks, vans, diesel or gas powered cars, it allows your vehicle to become 40% more fuel efficient, thus saving you money at the pumps, it is 100% safe and it works with plain tap water. This is a 90 year old technology that the big oil companies have tried to keep suppressed to keep the big money going into their pockets. Just look at the price of gas and if they have their way it will continue to go up. We need to start using our technology and not depend on these countries to supply us with their high priced oil. If we the people of the United States would use our technology, we could drastically cut our dependency on foreign oil. This technology to use water to run your car is so simple that anyone with a little mechanical ability can install it, and if you don’t have the ability to install it you can always find a friend or someone who can. As the price of gas keeps going up, can you afford not to take this Water Fuel Technology seriously?
